Your primary care provider (PCP), usually an MD or DO, actively works with you to design your individualized plan for healthy living. Our team believes that establishing care with a PCP is important for continuity of care and better health outcomes.
To ensure we consistently meet your immediate healthcare needs, we hold back 40% of our provider visits for same-day use. This means that, in most cases, when you’re sick and need to see your PCP, we will be able to work you in the same day. If your PCP is unavailable, we offer same-day appointments with nurse practitioners (NP) who work closely with our PCPs.

Why can’t I schedule provider visits online?
In order to serve our members in the most efficient way possible, it is necessary for our care coordinators to have primary control of our providers' (PCP) schedules. This ensures that your assigned appointment is most appropriate for your visit reason. This method also creates more visibility to your healthcare needs and ensures nothing important falls through the cracks.
